Overview
This position will take responsibility for design, development and product management of all back office functionality within Paladyne® Suite, as well as, integration components with third-party hedge fund accounting and portfolio management products. Paladyne combines capabilities for handling FI, EQ, and various Derivative securities and managing complex portfolios across various products. All products fully developed in .NET with heavy usage of advanced .NET technologies. This candidate needs to be a responsible individual capable of running his/her own projects but work closely with a diverse development team and system users. Financial Services experience is a must with preference of previous involvement in back office systems design and implementation, market data connectivity, and third party accounting system integration.
Responsibilities
- Manage development of back office systems
- Design, develop and lead other developers in future system releases
- Work closely with traders on new functionality requirements
- Work with third-party products and services
Prerequisites
- 7+ Years of Development experience on Microsoft technologies with 1-2 years of .NET development
- Proficient in MS.SQL 2000 technologies
- Excellent Knowledge of accounting principles and working experience with portfolio management systems
- Experience in working with popular third-party Buy-Side accounting and portfolio management systems
- Knowledge of Market Data technologies (Reuters, Bloomberg)
- Good understanding of financial instruments and trading strategies
- Ability to lead a team and manage product’s lifecycle
