Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to join our Product Management group. The BA will be responsible for documenting the functional requirements defined by the Product Management team. These Requirement Documents will contain both written and graphical information created using a variety of tools. Paladyne’s clients are hedge funds, asset managers, prime brokers and fund administrators. Our solutions handle a wide range of asset classes including equity, credit, fixed income, derivatives, commodities, currencies. In brief, the scope of the Paladyne suite of products covers portfolio management, order management, security reference data, and analytical information.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Management to create mock designs, workflows, and general system functionality.
- Create written specifications of business requirements.
- Project Management – Coordinate with development division, track deliverables, commitments, etc.
- Project Management – Status reporting.
- Coordinate with Product Management and Quality Assurance to assemble test cases and use cases for the applications and to communicate and monitor those requirements with development and QA.
Prerequisites
- Experience in financial markets and products.
- Clear, concise business and technical writing skills.
- Modest graphic art abilities (enough to work with paint programs, etc. but not professional graphics design).
- Experience creating diagrams (workflow, system, UI, etc) using Visio or similar design tools.
