Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our Acceptance testing team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for verifying the requirements from a user perspective, developing test cases and executing test scripts for hedge fund management systems. This person will be required to work closely with the Product Management Team and Development Team across Paladyne’s different regional offices.
Responsibilities
- Verify system requirements from a business user perspective
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the acceptance test case library
- Advise the Technical QA team on automated regression test development and review of the automated test log
- Report and track defects and investigate root causes of problems found
- Advise development team on bug fixing
Prerequisites
- Experience with designing test cases and executing tests for financial systems
- Business knowledge: An understanding of hedge fund asset classes e.g. equities, bonds, forwards, swaps characteristic, and P/L calculations
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with C# applications, Excel and test tools
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or related. study in CFA or CAIA
