Paladyne Forms Alliance with Microsoft to Service the Hedge Fund Industry with State-of-the-Art Technology Solutions

NEW YORK, NY – April 3, 2007 – Paladyne Systems, LLC today announced it has formed an alliance with Microsoft Corp. to service the hedge fund industry with the PALADYNE™ product line powered by the Microsoft software development platform. As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Paladyne will have access to the latest technology offerings and related support services within Microsoft to further enhance its product offering to the hedge fund marketplace. Microsoft will benefit from Paladyne’s expertise in serving the capital markets space, to enhance and target their technology solutions more aggressively to the hedge fund marketplace.

The PALADYNE™ suite of products is an integrated front – to back-office hedge fund solution offered either as a local installation or as a full-service application service provider (“ASP”) offering. The PALADYNE suite supports the trading, operational, data warehousing, custom reporting, and reference data management requirements for hedge funds. Paladyne utilizes Microsoft’s technology in all areas of its product suite, including Microsoft .NET, Microsoft BizTalk Server 2005, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and Microsoft Reporting Services.

“Managing the entire trade lifecycle – order management, portfolio accounting, analytics toolsets, comprehensive portfolio pricing, custom reporting and more – from a single, end-to-end vendor can be a competitive differentiator for hedge funds,” said Craig Saint-Amour, capital markets industry solutions director for Microsoft’s U.S. Financial Services Group. “Paladyne has caught the attention of Microsoft as one of the more comprehensive ASP offerings in the financial services industry and serves as an impressive case study on how hedge funds can leverage our technology platform in all aspects of their businesses.”

“The Microsoft platform provides us with significant competitive advantages over other software vendors, most notably in the areas of scalability, ease of use, reduced development costs and timelines, testing, and quality assurance,” said Sameer Shalaby, Chief Executive Officer of Paladyne Systems. “Our decision to work with Microsoft will further enhance Paladyne as the most comprehensive ASP solution available in the hedge fund marketplace.”

Paladyne and Microsoft are currently working together to distribute and service hedge fund clients.
